Japan Desk Scotland  introduces Japanese cultures for people in Scotland through Japanese Class, Japan Matters public events, and Japan-themed workshops.    

JDS introduces Scottish cultures to people in Japan through running Inter-cultural Workshops, and  Scotland-themed workshops at Japanese universities.

To facilitate these activities, JDS produces documentary films.

There are some past activities JDS used to run regularly.

Across various activities, the accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant has been one of the main focuses for Japan Desk Scotland.
