The accident at Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant on 11 March 2011 is one of the main issues Japan Desk Scotland has followed through various activities, such as making documentary films, and running Japan Matters public lectures and Japan workshops on the theme of Fukushima. In addition, JDS has run workshops at Fukushima University.
Our story behind the making Fukushima documentaries has been published in Volume 3 of Innovative Research in Japanese Studies, the online journal of Israeli Association of Japanese Studies.
